The Olympics in Rio may be just around the corner, but we’ve already had ours! We’ve been holding our first Sports Event at Space today.
For all of the staff at Space Inclusive, encouraging a healthy lifestyle is a top priority for us, and exercise is most certainly party of that. Our Pelham Road staff thought a good way of putting that into action was through an event like this.
It is very traditional event, with loads of familiar events such as an egg and spoon race, a tug of war and a baton rely race.
Taking place at the Southglade leisure centre, the event is a great way for our Pelham Road clients to build closer relationships and encourage team building. Also, it’s a great way for clients to get active and have fun. We’d like to thank the staff at Nottingham City Council’s Disability Sport and Leisure department for their ongoing support in offering us high quality sporting activities and also for the loan of the equipment to make this event possible.
