Last Friday afternoon Space Inclusive held a special Tea Party for charity. Clients were invited to have a cuppa and give a bit of money to Dementia UK as part of a national ‘Time for a Cuppa’ event.
Arranged by our client, Shannen, and with the help of others at our Radford Boulevard site, there were lovely cakes, tea and coffee. Shannen said she wanted to arrange the event because she’s always wanted to do something for charity, and she knew some people who had Dementia so understood how it affected people.
The afternoon was a real success. Clients and staff came from across all sites and raised a terrific £83.99 for Dementia UK.
Dementia UK will be using the money raised to help fund more Admiral Nurses to support families in local communities and to run their helpline, which is open seven days a week and is there for anyone with questions or concerns about dementia.
